The location of the signal light can be pre-set for random,or any pre-designated location 2-0 would be random, and 2-X is for any predetermined location (the X is the number of the light counting clockwise from the top light. To pre-determine the location of the "X" light, start at the top light and count the lights clockwise in a spiral direction. The center light will be #33. Depress the start/reset button, hold button depressed until a signal is heard, release the button and press the illuminated light/button on the saccadic fixator. 43. Balance Board - - Self-Pacing Quad Mode

Plug the balance board connector into either the saccadic fixator connector, or the connector on the right-hand side of the control center module (CCM). Set the control center module switch to "BALANCE BOARD" setting. The time is pre-set to 60 seconds but can be re-set to any time frame. Trainee must shift his body balance following the direction of the lights.

To score a point, trainee must tilt board in the direction of the illuminated lights. If the ccm is used, set the switch to position A. Time has been pre-set at 120 seconds. The speed of the lights has been pre-set at 90 light/minute.

Balance board - integration

All activities using the Wayne Computerized Saccadic Fixator can be integrated with the balance board through the control center module; ie, traineee must maintain balance while performing any activity, otherwise the activity is terminated, and the final score is presented on the display. By returning to balance twice, the counter display will automatically reset, and will again be ready to start the activity. Set the ccm switch to positions B or D depending upon the activity.
